Canada Water regeneration programme
The exciting Canada Water regeneration programme led by Southwark Council and BL Canada Quays Ltd; will aim to deliver a vibrant new town centre for Rotherhithe, where people will come to shop, socialise or sit by the dockside. The Canada Water regeneration programme will bring 2,700 new homes (35% are affordable), new retail and office space, leisure facilities with a new library and creation of a new civic square at the heart of Canada Water.

The results of this study were presented at the Rotherhithe community council on 5 February. This work was commissioned by the Canada Water regeneration team at Southwark Council to look at how people travel around in Rotherhithe to shape our thinking for any new transport systems in line with development planning. -
